ATTLEBORO – Joe Kennedy for Congress announced the opening of a new 4th District campaign office this weekend. Located in Attleboro, this office will serve as regional headquarters for the campaign’s growing field operation and volunteer team. Last week, the campaign opened two additional field offices in Fall River and Medway, and had previously opened a headquarters in Newton.
On Saturday, Joe was joined by nearly a hundred supporters to officially open the campaign’s Attleboro office. Among the attendees were City Councilman Walter Thibodeau, City Councilman Jeremy Denlea and former State Rep. Bill Bowles.
“This office opening is a testament to the team of volunteers and staff who work tirelessly out in the field and behind the scenes everyday,” said Joe. “It will support the amazing organizational operation we have in place so far, and will allow us to connect more directly with local voters. Attleboro is an integral part of the social and economic fabric of the 4th District. This field office will be crucial to our efforts in the coming months.”
Since announcing his candidacy for Congress, Joe has spent the past few months crisscrossing the 4th Congressional District, visiting every city and town at least once to talk directly with voters. Out on the trail, he has stressed the importance of creating jobs, working to achieve energy independence, protecting health care coverage, getting our national debt under control, and bringing basic fairness back into our system. Over 1,400 volunteers have signed up to help Joe, who has also earned the endorsements of the Bay State Stonewall Democrats, the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Nurses Association, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the SEIU state council and the Massachusetts AFL-CIO.
