I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your support, your trust, and-ultimately-your vote. It will be an honor and a privilege to represent the 4th District of Massachusetts in Congress.
This victory would not have been possible without the countless hours you devoted to this campaign. The days you spent canvassing through thundershowers and heat waves. The nights you gave up to call your friends and neighbors and make sure our message was being heard across the district.
At the end of the day, this race was about fighting for fairness—about forging a stronger future while safeguarding the values that this country was built on.
You stood with me every step of the way. You opened your homes to me and welcomed me at your businesses. You were honest with me about your hopes for this district and the needs of your families.
Your kindness and character, hard work and dedication, inspired me to keep going after long, hard days in the field.
I cannot thank you enough for everything you did over the last nine months to help us earn our victory tonight.
Now, let’s get to work.
